Mahara Health would like to keep you safe and to do this we need to make sure all patients are screened correctly before entering the practice.
All high risk patients who are elderly, immunocompromised, have a chronic illness or are not vaccinated against Covid 19 will be offered, and should consider, a virtual consultation before attending the practice.
If you strongly feel you would like an in-person consultation you may be phoned by the nurse or doctor before your appointment. This will minimise your risk of exposure to Covid but be reassured that if the doctor needs to examine you they will bring you in. Please advise reception if you have any of the following symptoms at the time of booking.:
sore throat
runny nose
headache
nausea
vomiting
cough
body aches
fever
loss of sense of smell or sinus congestion
We will also be checking for these symptoms on your arrival at the practice. Anyone with symptoms should not enter the building and should contact us by phone. In order to comply with social distancing you will be asked to wait in your car before your appointment.
