I have been working in the health industry for the past 20 years. My role has been as a Practice Manager previously in the Horowhenua region and now to the Kapiti Coast. I still live in the Horowhenua with my husband, John, and our dogs. I have two wonderful children and one grandchild.
My job is to make sure that the practice runs smoothly, this includes Health & Safety, repairs, rosters, etc and looking after our small but awesome team that provides such great care to patients of Mahara Health
I have enjoyed working in customer service roles all of my working life. For the past 7 years in the Health Industry as a Medical Receptionist.
Having previously lived in Lower Hutt my husband, and I decided to make the move to the Kapiti Coast two years ago, along with our three young daughters.
I enjoy the variety my role in the practice offers, and look forward to greeting, and being able to assist all of our patients.
Our Receptionist Jill’s working life has been shared between a long career nursing in both public and private practice, together with a passion for food and hospitality as a previous café owner.
After 30 years living and working in Wellington city she is delighted to now be residing at Waikanae Beach with her husband Jamie. When away from Mahara Health, Jill spends time with her two grown up daughters and grandchildren, or pursuing her interests in harakeke (flax) weaving, walking and food.
